I'm Tutu Mtetwa, a passionate Computer Science student graduating in 2026, pursuing a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science. My journey is fueled by an unwavering desire to become a software engineer, and I'm currently weaving my story at Truman State University.

In the dynamic tapestry of my academic adventure, I am not just a student; I am an active participant in the vibrant tech community. As a proud member of ColorStack and the Google Developers Student Club, I thrive on collaboration and the exchange of innovative ideas. What truly lights up my coding world is my role as a Coding Instructor Volunteer with Microsoft Teals, where I share my love for code with fellow learners.

The turning point in my journey occurred during a remarkable 7-month software engineering internship at ZETDC, the largest Electric Distribution Company. Immersed in the heart of their operations, I became an integral part of the team working on the Outage Management System (OMS). This transformative experience not only honed my technical skills but also unveiled the intricate dance between software solutions and the real-world challenges of a major utility provider.

In the realm of OMS, I learned to navigate the complex landscape of outage prediction, response coordination, and system optimization. The power of code manifested as I contributed to enhancing the reliability of the electric distribution network, ensuring seamless operations even in the face of disruptions. This experience fortified my commitment to software engineering, emphasizing its pivotal role in addressing critical issues that impact our daily lives.

As I continue to evolve in this ever-evolving field, I invite you to explore my portfolio, a testament to my journey, experiences, and aspirations. Let's connect, innovate, and build the future together!
